KENNEL INFORMATION

PET HEALTH & CARE

HEALTHY CARE?	FOOD
	Palmdale Kennels will feed your dogs (or you can provide your dogs own special diet which we will feed to your dogs under your instructions). The dogs are fed once per day, unless you specify otherwise. Palmdale Kennels experience is that the animal is healthier on this regime. The dogs will be fed between 4pm and 6pm depending on sunset times Palmdale Kennels has a mixture of Semi Lean beef and vegetable based Dried Biscuit. The Semi Lean beef has a high proportion of protein and some fat. As the dogs only eat once a day they do need a proportion of fat in their diet. All dogs have their own water bowl
	EXCERCISE
	This is done as required and at the discretion of Palmdale Kennels management. It is also done with your specific permission. Dogs will be walked on a circuit around the Kennels which is about 800 meters. More specifically, all hyper active animals will be walked regularly
	MEDICAL NEEDS and VETs
	All medical needs will be catered for under the clients instructions; BUT if the client is not able to be contacted and the animal requires a Vets attention then Palmdale Kennels will take discretionary action, as required, at the client’s expense.
	FLEA'S
	Dogs will be bathed, as needed, to assist in ridding them of fleas. This costs $10 per bath and will be at the discretion of the Kennel Management. If a dog is very infected, the Kennel at its discretion will give it the ‘CAPSTAR’ anti flea tablet. This will cost $4
	GROOMING
	This is not a function of this Kennel Management. Palmdale Kennels has a relationship with a professional Animal Groomer who will be recommended
	SLEEP
	The dogs are provided with a trampoline bed for their sleeping arrangements. The material is ‘flea-proof’ by nature and these Beds are cleaned regularly
